Intergenerational Green Jobs Summit
The goal of the Intergenerational Green Jobs Summit (IGJS) is to promote green career opportunities, make the green industry more accessible to people living in disadvantaged communities, and bring together community members interested in transitioning to the green industry workforce.
This interactive summit will focus on bringing trainers, union leaders, workforce development practitioners, and community visionaries together to map out clear pathways for workers to enter the green industry workforce. Current projects happening across Long Island will be shared, and participants will be encouraged to envision new green projects for their own communities.
