Campus Closure: 9/22/25 - 9/28/25
To Faculty and Staff:
You may have noticed on the 2025-2026 academic calendar that a 鈥渇all break鈥� is scheduled
for 9/22 to 9/28. The 2025 Ryder Cup golf competition will take place during that
week at Bethpage Black Course at Bethpage State Park, next door to our campus. As
previously done, FSC is working with the PGA to share resources and provide support
for this important event which will limit daily access to campus. As part of this
effort, we have cancelled all classes the week of September 22, the length of the
semester has been adjusted to accommodate this change, and appropriate campus employees
should plan to work remotely. If employees require a laptop to use during the break,
their supervisor should complete . Normal campus hours, classes, and activity will resume on Monday, September 29,
2025.
If there are extenuating circumstances that require access to campus during this timeframe,
supervisors must complete on behalf of their employee(s) before Friday, August 29, 2025.
