Incoming Students

*An "Incoming Student" is a Student who has not taken any courses yet at FSC (excluding University in the High School courses).

Incoming students' registration for SPRING or SUMMER begins in early November.
Incoming students' registration for FALL or WINTER begins in early May.

Incoming Spring 2025 students (first-time or transfer) will find registration information in the . Incoming first-time students seen by the AAIC can set up a registration appointment by choosing their major within the Advisement Tool. Transfer students can begin scheduling appointments on October 29.

Incoming First-Year Student Checklist

Submit your deposit to Student Accounts

Submit immunization and Meningitis Records to Health and Wellness Center. You cannot be registered for classes until this is submitted.

If you have no schedule yet, please log into the to find your advising department. Advisement for incoming students starts in May. Students advised by the AAIC will find a link to a Registration Questionnaire in the Portal. Students should click on the link titled Submit Your Registration Questionnaire and provide all the requested information from which an advisor can create your individual schedule. The AAIC will begin creating schedules from the Questionnaires on May 12, in the order they were received.

The last day for fall 2025 schedule changes is August 29.

Enter in the . Near the top, you will see you a section that says "Don't Forget tot setup your Farmingdale Email" with your Farmingdale e-mail listed right below. Below it is a link with Instructions to set up your email.

With your Farmingdale e-mail and password you can now enter myFSC on the Farmingdale website. Please use either the Internet Explorer/Edge or Firefox browsers (download it if you do not have it installed on your computer). From the Farmingdale website, after logging into myFSC, on the navigation bar on the left, click on Oasis. There are a couple of short surveys you need to complete. Please do this before scheduling any appointment.

If applicable, prepare a list of all AP exams you have taken or will take, as well as all IB courses, and all University in the High School courses that you have paid for and have taken or are completing. The Questionnaire will be asking you to list these.

Incoming Transfer Student Checklist

Before booking an appointment, check on :
Determine if your transfer credit evaluation has been completed. Please use either the Internet Explorer/Edge or Firefox browsers (download it if you do not have it installed on your computer).
If your transfer evaluation is not completed 10 business days after your deposit was submitted, contact the Transfer Service Office 934-420-5446 or email tsr@farmingdale.edu.
NOTE: If you schedule an appointment and your transfer credits have not posted, your appointment will be cancelled.

Enter in the FSC RAM Portal. Right at the top, you will see your RAM ID# and your Farmingdale e-mail. Below it is a link with "Instructions to set up your email".

If you can see that your transfer credits have been posted, you are ready to set up an appointment with your advising department. Use the Advisement Tool to find your particular major and then see who transfer students in that department should contact to be advised. Transfer students advised by the AAIC will find a link in the Advisement Tool under their major for Transfer Students.
