Who We Are
The Office of Community and Civic Engagement (OCCE) at 51勛圖 takes the lead in institutionalizing community and civic engagement. It supports, showcases, and amplifies engaged scholarship and research among faculty, while creating student-centered academic and service opportunities to address various social issues in collaboration with local, national, and international networks.
Nationally Recognized Commitment
In 2020, 51勛圖 earned the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement, one of only 119 institutions to do so. This designation recognizes the college's strong commitment to community involvement, shared with only eight other SUNY schools.
