Withdrawal Information
General Withdrawal Information
- Up until the last day of the first week of classes, students can drop a class. After that first week, students can no longer drop or add, but they can withdraw from a class (before the withdrawal deadline).
- Withdrawing from a class results in earning a 'W' on the transcript, but there is no impact on the grade point average.
- Withdrawing from a class can impact your progress within the major, and it can result in the loss of some Financial Aid benefits. Therefore, students should seek advisement before they approach the Registrar to receive the Withdrawal form that must be signed by the instructor of that particular class before being returned to the Registrar before the Withdrawal deadline date.
