DEI Matters: Employer Equity

Join us for DEI Matters: Employer Equity, an engaging and interactive event focused on advancing equity in the workplace. This session will explore inclusive practices and the role employers play in fostering equitable environments for all. 

We're excited to welcome Cheryl Stratigos, Director of Career Development, Nexus Center, who will share valuable insights and resources to help individuals succeed in equitable employment settings. Additionally, the workshop will feature a Panel of staff and faculty who will speak candidly about their experiences and perspectives on employer equity. 

In addition to the discussion, attendees can participate in creative and community-building activities including: 

• A Giant Jenga Equity Challenge to spark conversation and reflection.
• Vision Board Creation to visualize inclusive futures.
• Light Refreshments to enjoy while connecting with students, staff, and faculty.

Whether you're a student, staff member, or faculty, this event is a space to learn, share, and grow together in our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
