
Voices of The World: A Celebration of Mother Language!

Join us for an inspiring celebration of International Mother Language Day, hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusive Excellence, and Modern Languages. We will explore and honor the richness of linguistic diversity and the cultural heritage embedded in our mother tongues.
A CALL FOR STUDENT VOICES!
We invite students to share Folk tales, Proverbs and or Music from their mother language.
Register through the sign-up link below by Friday, February 13th.
The program will feature:
- Opening Presentation: The evolution of human expression over thousands of years.
- Folk Tales & Proverbs: Experience the wisdom, humor, music, and art of diverse cultures as participants share stories and sayings from their mother languages.
- Interactive Language Exchange: Pair up and teach one another simple words or phrases from each other's native language aimed at fostering cultural exchange that celebrates the beauty of linguistic diversity.
Come ready to learn, share, and connect through the universal power of language!
Light refreshments will be served.
All members of the 51³Ô¹Ï campus community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
