Kevin Kucharczyk
Dr. Kevin Kucharczyk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at 51³Ô¹Ï, and a proud Farmingdale alumnus (Class of 2019). He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2025.
His research focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of semiconductor devices, particularly GaAs photodetector arrays. He has experience with device modeling, circuit design, and optical/electrical characterization using laser and x-ray sources.
As both alumnus and faculty, Dr. Kucharczyk is dedicated to mentoring students and bringing hands-on, applied engineering experiences into the classroom.
