I was a Nassau County Probation Probation Alcohol Screener after graduating from John Jay College with a BA in Deviant Behavior and Social Control. I then worked as a United States Probation Officer in EDNY and attended graduate school at John Jay. I earned a Masters in Criminal Justice with Honors, while working as a USPO. I worked through each rank and ultimately spent my last decade of a 30 year career at US Probation as the Chief, running the agency for the US Courts.
I retired in 2018 and began as a Visiting Professor at FSC where I am still employed now as a Lecturer. I have been at FSC for seven years.
