New York 529 College Savings Program
State employees can open an account with New York's 529 Direct Plan through payroll
deduction, or if you plan to contribute on your own. An added benefit to enrolling
in the Direct Plan is the generous deduction on your New York State income tax return
if you are the account owner. Also take advantage of the rewards, a free service that gives you back a percentage of your qualified spending
on groceries, gasoline, and other goods and services.
