David Antar
David Antar is a visionary entrepreneur with over 36 years of experience in the security technology and educational technology industries. Throughout his career, he has founded and grown several successful high-tech companies, driven by his keen understanding of customer needs and market trends.
He is the founder of ViewScan, a cutting-edge software platform leveraging artificial intelligence for remote guarding and event management, staffed nationwide by Disabled American Veterans. He also established A+ Mobile Solutions, including A+ STEM Labs, which focuses on instructional technology for K-12 schools. His team of over 65 teachers provides virtual education, develops a learning management platform, and supports more than 1,500 STEM/STEAM labs in NYC schools.
Antar has successfully exited seven startups, including IPVideo Corporation, which was acquired by Motorola Solutions in 2023. His team developed and patented innovative products like the highly successful HALO IoT Smart Sensor and Sentry Emergency Response System. Most recently, he sold A+ Technology & Security Solutions to Convergint, the world鈥檚 leading security integrator.
Recognized for his contributions, David was inducted into the Long Island Technology Hall of Fame and has received numerous awards, including the Visionary Award from the Long Island Software and Technology Network and Industry Partner of the Year at NYIT鈥檚 Ingenium Awards. He is actively involved with local universities and was recently honored with membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. His passion remains focused on making the world a smarter, safer, and healthier place.
