What exactly goes on during Orientation?
FSC's Orientation is a comprehensive program designed to better prepare you to achieve your academic goals here at Farmingdale. Through engaging tours and presentations, you will not only learn the various policies, rules and regulations of the College, but you will also get insight into both the academic and social/cultural sides of the college experience.
Why do I have to pay for my Orientation?
Your orientation fee, made via the , covers administrative expenses, food, and materials you will be receiving throughout the day while on-campus, as well as technology costs to maintain the online program.
What is the cancellation / refund policy?
Upon verification of payment, refund will be mailed via check payment within approximately four (4) weeks. Refunds are subject to a $5 service fee to cover costs incurred.
What happens if I reserve a date but fail to pay?

I'm registered for an in-person orientation program. When should I arrive?
As your scheduled orientation program date approaches, be sure to monitor your FSC student email account for the latest information - including potential schedule changes in the event of extenuating circumstances, such as inclement weather.
Once your program date arrives, all participants in our New Student programs are expected to check in at the FSC Campus Center at 8:30 a.m. All participants in our Transfer or Non-Traditional Student programs are expected to check in at 1:00 p.m.
