Lauren Hillmann

With a robust career spanning over a decade in healthcare, Lauren currently serves as the Director at 51³Ô¹Ï State College's Health and Wellness Center. Since joining the college in 2019, Lauren has played a pivotal role in clinical operations—first as a Clinic Supervisor and now as Director — overseeing employee scheduling, medical inventory, policy development, and regulatory compliance. Notably, Lauren led critical pandemic-related initiatives, including COVID-19 testing, vaccine compliance, and EMR system enhancements.

Before joining 51³Ô¹Ï, Lauren served as an Assistant Nurse Manager at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, where she managed seven units within the Cardiac Service Line, oversaw budgeting, staffing, and responded to emergency calls. Prior to this, Lauren worked as a Case Manager at the same facility, facilitating seamless patient care transitions and working closely with payers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Lauren began her nursing career at New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell, where she provided direct orthopedic and vascular care to adult patients. As a Charge Nurse, Lauren led care teams, coordinated pre- and post-operative care and ensured comprehensive discharge planning for the unit.

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY, graduating Cum Laude in May 2010.

Throughout her career, Lauren has demonstrated a strong commitment to healthcare leadership, compliance and innovation, consistently driving improvements in patient care, staff development and operational efficiency.
