Lukas Miedreich
Lukas Miedreich was born and raised in the land of Wawa—the Poconos, PA—and currently lives in Astoria, Queens. He joined the Office of Student Activities as the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life in Spring 2017 and has served as the Director of Student Activities since Summer 2023.
Lukas earned his bachelor's degrees in Geography and History from Hofstra University, where he joined Phi Delta Theta. His involvement in the fraternity sparked his interest in higher education. He later returned to Hofstra to earn his M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies.
In his current role, Lukas serves as the advisor to the Student Government Association and leads a team of seven professionals who support student organizations, campus programming, fraternity/sorority life, Quintyne Hall, SGA's financial and business operations, and the college's beloved mascot, Ram-Bo.
Outside the office, Lukas enjoys walking all over NYC, drinking cold brew, watching The Real Housewives (of any franchise), running, and listening to music as if it's still 2002.
