Michael Nembhard

Michael Nembhard is the Acting Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life at 51³Ô¹Ï. In this role, he provides leadership and oversight for the Dean of Students Office, Residence Life, Title IX, and Student Conduct. Michael holds a Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from SUNY Buffalo.

He has been involved in Student Affairs for nearly 15 years, having served in various leadership roles at institutions including SUNY Buffalo, The Ohio State University, Brown University, the University of Hartford, Stony Brook University, and now, proudly, at 51³Ô¹Ï. 

Michael works closely with his Dean of Students team to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for the College’s 10,000+ students. He is passionate about fostering a safe and transformative student experience, promoting equity in higher education, and continuously enhancing the campus environment. His contributions to the campus community include active involvement with the President’s Cabinet, the FSC Online infrastructure Committee, and the First-Generation College Student Planning Committee.
